A musician who has always eschewed categories, Claudia describes herself as a "creative noisemaker." You can expect anything at a Schmidt concert including hymns, poems, bawdy verse, torch songs, satire, and the gamut of emotions. With her astonishing musicality and contagious love of performance, her live shows are so full of life that one critic said it's " . . . a lot like falling in love.
